I am a retired science teacher who loves to be outdoors.  My eyes are always drawn to the colorful, the unusual and the hidden beauties of nature.  I love fungi, and I find please in the textures of nature that are often missed. Many of my photos are from my home area, the eastern shore of Virginia.  Assateague, a variety of Natural Area Preserves and parks, and access to both the ocean and the Chesapeake Bay give me many opportunities to share the wildlife and scenery that abounds in this area.
